We are looking for an experienced Truss Designer with at least three years of experience to design roof and floor trusses for agricultural projects and single-family homes. The ideal candidate is proficient with Alpine, MiTek, or similar software and comfortable interacting with customers to clarify requirements and propose solutions.

• Design roof trusses for agricultural and single family residential projects using Alpine, MiTek, or similar software.
• Create floor truss designs for residential projects, meeting structural requirements and applicable building codes.
• Review and interpret architectural plans and specifications to develop accurate designs.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and production teams to align designs with client needs and production capabilities.
• Communicate with customers to confirm specifications, provide design options, and resolve concerns.
• Proactively identify and resolve design challenges to keep projects on schedule.
• Maintain accurate documentation of designs and project communications.
• Stay current on industry trends, software updates, and best practices.

• Proficiency in roof and floor truss design for agricultural and residential projects.
• Strong customer communication skills.
• Familiarity with building codes, structural principles, and construction practices.
• Detail oriented, organized, strong time management.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CAD experience is a plus.
